First Day at Work


I started my first day at work "Internship" on the first of July. The first thing I was afraid of is whether I will be judged based on how I look, talk or carry myself. This made me to act a certain way and not step in people's toes because the last thing I wanted  was to engage in office politics. What I was most excited about is being in a new environment and learning about this wonderful career I chose and to be called a career women or an independent woman.

What I have learnt so far, about the work place is that I need to be myself all the time and not be afraid to shine because when you shine that is were your employers learn that you have potential to be something big in the company. To everyone who is starting a new job or still looking, note that a work place is a place of learning about the career path you chose but don't forget to play because ''ALL WORK,NO PLAY, MAKES YOU A DULL PERSON''
